The Story of Malas

Malas have been around for over 3,000 years, originating in India. We began using our malas in our daily meditation and to bring more mindfulness into our lives while studying Vipassana meditation in Thailand. Traditionally malas were made from elements like wood and bone, in more modern times different stones have been used for further healing properties as well as aesthetics. However you use your malas, we do ask that you use them respectfully and take care of them due to their sacred history.
